24/7 Emergency Plumbing

Around-the-clock emergency service dispatched for Wilkes County homeowners facing burst pipes, sewer backups, water heater failures, and no-water well problems, day or night, weekends and holidays.

Water Treatment & Softening
Water softeners, filtration, and treatment for the hard water that's prevalent across the Catawba Valley and foothills, plus the iron, sulfur odor, acidity (low pH), sediment, and radon common in the region's crystalline-bedrock wells. A water test shows exactly what your home needs.
Whole-Home Repiping & Pipe Repair
Pipe repair and whole-home repiping, the area's older furniture-town and mill homes often have aging galvanized, polybutylene, and corroded copper worth replacing, and acidic well water speeds corrosion, so we repipe, plus water service line and leaking pipe repair, including burst and frozen-pipe repair in winter.
Water Heaters & Tankless
Water heater repair, replacement, and installation, including tankless systems, cold foothills incoming water and hard-water scale work heaters hard, so flushing, replacement, and tankless upgrades are popular.
Sump Pumps, Crawlspace & Basement Water
Sump pump installation and repair, plus crawlspace and basement drainage, foothills homes sit on crawlspaces and hillside basements where groundwater, seepage, and heavy rain collect, so a working sump system and dry crawlspace matter.
Wells & Water Pumps
Well and water pump service and pressure tanks for the many rural homes across Wilkes, Alexander, Caldwell, Lincoln, and Catawba counties on private wells, paired with the well-water treatment those homes need.
Drain Cleaning & Hydro Jetting
Drain cleaning and hydro jetting with camera inspection, clearing grease, sediment, and the tree roots that invade sewer and septic lines under the region's mature hardwoods.
Sewer Line Repair, Replacement & Trenchless
Sewer line repair and replacement and trenchless sewers, restoring aging sewer laterals and clearing root intrusions, often without digging up the whole yard.
Slab Leak & Leak Detection
Leak detection and slab leak repair, for the slab-on-grade and ranch homes in the mix here, plus pool leak detection, pinpointing hidden leaks before they cause damage.
Gas Lines & Boilers
Gas line installation and repair for water heaters, ranges, fireplaces, generators, and grills, plus boiler repair and installation for the older and mountain homes that use hydronic heat.
Fixtures, Outdoor & Disposals
Faucets, toilets, showers, sinks, bathtubs, and garbage disposals repaired and installed, plus outdoor plumbing, pool pumps, and frost-proof hose bibs.
Commercial Plumbing
Commercial plumbing service for the furniture makers, shops, restaurants, offices, and businesses across the Catawba Valley and foothills.

Wilkes County's mountain-and-foothills range shapes its plumbing. Most homes outside the towns are on private wells and septic systems,so well-pump and pressure-tank service, well-water treatment for the hardness, iron, acidity, and sediment common in the crystalline bedrock, and septic-aware drain and sewer service are core, everyday needs. Its higher, colder elevations make frozen and burst pipes a serious winter concern, and its older river-town and farm homes may have aging galvanized, polybutylene, or corroded copper pipe worth repiping. Homes sit on crawlspaces, hillside basements, and cabins on piers, where crawlspace moisture, sump pumps, and freeze protection matter.

Wilkes County homes are built on crawlspaces, hillside and walk-out basements, and raised cabins,as the foothills and mountains make standard, not the full basements of the north nor the slabs of the coast. Winters are cold, and colder still at elevation, bringing burst and frozen pipes, and mountain and second-home properties benefit from winterizing.

Linda Burns

I highly recommend this company. They were quick and responsive in scheduling my service, and the plumber they sent out was fantastic. Sometimes it’s hard to find a plumber, but search no more. Use them! I certainly will use them again. Most importantly, their prices are very reasonable and competitive.

Outstanding experience! A polite young man Mr. Amado handled a small repair for us, and everything went seamlessly. Scheduling through the call center was quick, communication was stellar, and the pricing and workmanship were top-notch. As someone who has worked in the service industry for a long time, I truly appreciate the commitment to customer service and communication training shown here. The quality of work still needs to stand the test of time, but the overall experience was 10 out of 10. I won't hesitate to use them again!

Brian Ridenour

Daniel was great!! He was very prompt and explained the workings of the new water heater. The company is awesome. Now you could find a cheaper water heater and cheaper labor but I tried one of those water heaters from the big box store and it failed after only 4 years. The ones that Benjamin Franklin sells are MADE IN THE USA instead of a foreign country. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry!

Dennis Sen

10/10, no doubt about it. Lucas was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. We had an issue with our water heater that left us without hot water or heat this fall. He quickly diagnosed the problems, explained his findings in excellent detail, and got everything fixed. He also went the extra mile in a couple of ways I didn’t expect, which I really appreciated. I’d absolutely recommend Lucas!

Refind Vintage

We had our water heater repaired and had a new water filter system installed after the technician suggested it. He was friendly and factual. After his visit we had to have another repair man to set the water heater temperature. Now it is working fine.

Suzyn Purdy

Christian was a very kind and pleasant young man. He did an exceptional job replacing my kitchen sink faucet and incinerator. He was thorough and helped to get the smell out of our pipes I would recommend him for any job.

Larry Murphy

Our plumber, Jared was efficient and understood our issue quickly! Very respectful of us and property and we highly recommend this company.

Jeremiah Fisher

A full gas water heater installation -- quick install with courteous service. Jon Hare and Luke Stelly gave excellent advice and were finished with the install in less 3 hours (including purchasing the unit itself)! Thanks!

Tammy Spencer

Luke was awesome! I am so happy that I picked your company to do my repair! I will be using your company again. Thank you for your awesome service! I would highly recommend your company to anyone needing service done at their home!

Paula Thompson

The guys were personable, have plumbing experience and seemed knowledgeable of the situation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my Wilkes County home on a well and septic?

Most homes outside the towns are. We service well pumps and pressure tanks, treat well water for hardness, iron, and acidity, and provide septic-aware drain and sewer service.

Do pipes really freeze up here?

Yes, Wilkes County gets cold, and colder still at elevation. Frozen and burst pipes are a serious winter risk. We repair them 24/7 and help prevent them with insulation and winterizing.
