Malvern, the “Brick Capital of the World,” is the seat of Hot Spring County. It’s a historic railroad and brick-manufacturing town on the Ouachita River southeast of Hot Springs, with a walkable downtown, established neighborhoods, and surrounding countryside. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® of Hot Springs is the on-time team Malvern families count on.
On time, every time: “if there's any delay, it's you we pay.”™
Every Malvern home has access to our full range of plumbing services. The menu is the same across our entire Ouachita lakes service area, and each service links to the national brand page with full details:
Around-the-clock emergency service dispatched for Malvern homeowners facing burst or leaking pipes, sewer backups, water heater failures, or no-water situations. We are available day or night, weekends and holidays.
Expert diagnosis and repair of leaks, fixtures, and supply problems, backed by professional inspection and diagnosis, with our fully stocked trucks fixing most issues in a single visit.
Pipe repair and whole-home repiping for aging galvanized and cast-iron systems, the failure-prone polybutylene common in 1980s–90s homes, and pipe corroded by soft, acidic well water, plus water service line and leaking pipe repair.
Water heater repair, replacement, and installation, including tankless systems, a popular upgrade for endless hot water and energy savings.
Drain cleaning and hydro jetting with camera inspection, clearing grease, buildup, and the tree roots that reach into older clay and cast-iron lines beneath the Ouachitas' mature canopy.
Sewer line repair and replacement and new sewer installation for root intrusion and aging clay and cast-iron laterals, a frequent need in the region's older neighborhoods.
Sump pump installation and repair, plus drainage help for the crawlspaces and low-lying, lakeside, and hillside lots common across the Ouachita lakes region.
Faucet, toilet, sink, and garbage disposal repair and installation, plus outdoor plumbing and winterizing for hose bibs, irrigation, and lake-home lines.
Malvern blends town homes on municipal water with properties on private wells in the surrounding country. We work across both: well and pump service and treatment for the soft, acidic, sometimes iron-bearing well water of the region, and everyday service for city-water homes. As a historic railroad and brick town, Malvern has plenty of older homes that may carry aging galvanized, cast-iron, or lead-era pipe worth repiping, plus later homes with 1980s–90s polybutylene.
Malvern's homes sit on slab, crawlspace, and pier-and-beam foundations, not basements. Mature trees also send roots into aging clay and cast-iron sewer laterals. Drain cleaning, hydro jetting, and sewer repair are frequent as a result. Long, hot summers push water heaters hard, and while winters are mild, the occasional hard freeze or ice storm can burst unprotected pipes.
Malvern's mix of historic town and country homes gets our full range. We can help with repiping (including older-home and polybutylene work), sewer and root removal, water heater service, drain cleaning, and well and pump service. Our fully stocked trucks fix most issues in one visit.
“If there's any delay, it's you we pay”™. If we're not on time, we pay you $5 for every minute we're late, up to 60 minutes or $300. See our guarantees.

I highly recommend this company. They were quick and responsive in scheduling my service, and the plumber they sent out was fantastic. Sometimes it’s hard to find a plumber, but search no more. Use them! I certainly will use them again. Most importantly, their prices are very reasonable and competitive.

Outstanding experience! A polite young man Mr. Amado handled a small repair for us, and everything went seamlessly. Scheduling through the call center was quick, communication was stellar, and the pricing and workmanship were top-notch. As someone who has worked in the service industry for a long time, I truly appreciate the commitment to customer service and communication training shown here. The quality of work still needs to stand the test of time, but the overall experience was 10 out of 10. I won't hesitate to use them again!

Daniel was great!! He was very prompt and explained the workings of the new water heater. The company is awesome. Now you could find a cheaper water heater and cheaper labor but I tried one of those water heaters from the big box store and it failed after only 4 years. The ones that Benjamin Franklin sells are MADE IN THE USA instead of a foreign country. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry!

10/10, no doubt about it. Lucas was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. We had an issue with our water heater that left us without hot water or heat this fall. He quickly diagnosed the problems, explained his findings in excellent detail, and got everything fixed. He also went the extra mile in a couple of ways I didn’t expect, which I really appreciated. I’d absolutely recommend Lucas!

We had our water heater repaired and had a new water filter system installed after the technician suggested it. He was friendly and factual. After his visit we had to have another repair man to set the water heater temperature. Now it is working fine.

Christian was a very kind and pleasant young man. He did an exceptional job replacing my kitchen sink faucet and incinerator. He was thorough and helped to get the smell out of our pipes I would recommend him for any job.

Our plumber, Jared was efficient and understood our issue quickly! Very respectful of us and property and we highly recommend this company.

A full gas water heater installation -- quick install with courteous service. Jon Hare and Luke Stelly gave excellent advice and were finished with the install in less 3 hours (including purchasing the unit itself)! Thanks!

Luke was awesome! I am so happy that I picked your company to do my repair! I will be using your company again. Thank you for your awesome service! I would highly recommend your company to anyone needing service done at their home!

The guys were personable, have plumbing experience and seemed knowledgeable of the situation.
Historic homes with corroding galvanized, cast-iron, or lead-era pipe, and later homes with polybutylene, benefit from repiping, which restores pressure and prevents leaks. We inspect and recommend honestly.
Roots from Malvern's mature trees invade aging clay and cast-iron laterals. We camera-inspect, clear the line with hydro jetting, and repair or replace it as needed.
Malvern has both: town municipal water and private wells in the surrounding country. We service both, including well and pump systems and treatment for acidic or iron-bearing water.
