Godley is a small, growing town in northwestern Johnson County, out in the ranch-and-farm country southwest of Fort Worth, a close-knit community of country homes, acreage, and new buildings where well water and septic are a way of life. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® of Fort Worth is glad to make the drive out to Godley.
On time, every time, if we're not on time, we take $5 off for every minute we're late, up to $300, and we back our work for two years. We're your Johnson County plumbing team, rated 4.8 stars.
Every Godley home has access to our full range of plumbing services. The menu is the same across our entire Fort Worth–Mansfield and Johnson County service area, and each service links to the brand page with full details:
Around-the-clock emergency service dispatched for Godley homeowners facing burst pipes, sewer backups, water heater failures, no-water well problems, and slab leaks, day or night, weekends and holidays.
Slab leak detection and repair and whole-home leak detection, nearly every home here sits on a concrete slab, and North Texas's expansive clay (part of the I-35 clay corridor) swells and shrinks with our wet/dry cycles, stressing the pipes beneath the slab. We pinpoint hidden leaks with acoustic and pressure testing and repair them before they undermine your foundation.
Well and water pump service and pressure tanks for the many Johnson County homes on private Trinity- and Cross Timbers-aquifer wells, which run hard and can carry iron and sediment, paired with water softeners, filtration, and treatment, plus septic-aware drain and sewer service for the area's conventional and aerobic septic systems.
Sewer line repair and replacement and trenchless sewers, many older Fort Worth-area homes have cast-iron drain lines under the slab that corrode and crack at the joints, and we camera-inspect, hydro-jet, and repair or replace them, often without digging up the whole slab.
Pipe repair and whole-home repiping, decades of clay movement and hard-water corrosion pinhole aging copper, so we repipe in durable PEX, plus water service line and leaking pipe repair, including burst and frozen-pipe repair after a hard North Texas freeze.
Water heater repair, replacement, and installation, including tankless systems, hard-water scale shortens heater life here, so flushing, replacement, and tankless upgrades are popular. Ask about our current tank and tankless install offers.
Drain cleaning and hydro jetting with camera inspection, clearing grease, scale, and the roots that invade sewer and septic lines under North Texas's mature shade trees. Ask about our current drain-cleaning special.
Gas line installation and repair, in the heart of Barnett Shale country, we install, repair, and test gas lines for water heaters, ranges, pool heaters, generators, fireplaces, and outdoor kitchens and grills.
Plumbing repairs of every kind, plus faucets, toilets, showers, sinks, bathtubs, garbage disposals, and outdoor plumbing and hose bibs built for the Texas heat.
Plumbing installation for the fast-growing communities across south Tarrant and Johnson counties, fixture upgrades, remodels, and installations done right the first time.
Commercial plumbing service for the shops, offices, restaurants, and businesses across the Fort Worth–Mansfield area and Johnson County.
Godley's rural setting shapes its plumbing. Most homes here are on private wells and septic systems, often aerobic systems built for the rural lots, so well-pump and pressure-tank service, well-water treatment for the hardness, iron, and sediment common in the Trinity and Cross Timbers aquifers, and septic-aware drain and sewer service are core, everyday needs. Its country homes and new acreage builds may need repiping or fresh installation, and homes on concrete slabs over the Cross Timbers and Grand Prairie ground, sandy bands alternating with expansive clay, still see slab leaks and foundation movement. As Barnett Shale country, gas lines are common.
Godley homes are built on concrete slabs over the region's clay-and-sand ground, as North Texas makes standard, not basements, so slab-leak detection matters, alongside well and septic service. Summers are long and hot; winters are mild but bring real freezes that burst exposed pipes and stress outbuildings and long service runs.
Godley's rural homes get our full range, well-pump service and well-water treatment, aerobic-septic-aware drain and sewer work, slab leak detection, repiping, water heater service, gas lines, and frozen-pipe service, all from a stocked truck that finishes most jobs in one trip, which matters out in the country.

I highly recommend this company. They were quick and responsive in scheduling my service, and the plumber they sent out was fantastic. Sometimes it’s hard to find a plumber, but search no more. Use them! I certainly will use them again. Most importantly, their prices are very reasonable and competitive.

Outstanding experience! A polite young man Mr. Amado handled a small repair for us, and everything went seamlessly. Scheduling through the call center was quick, communication was stellar, and the pricing and workmanship were top-notch. As someone who has worked in the service industry for a long time, I truly appreciate the commitment to customer service and communication training shown here. The quality of work still needs to stand the test of time, but the overall experience was 10 out of 10. I won't hesitate to use them again!

Daniel was great!! He was very prompt and explained the workings of the new water heater. The company is awesome. Now you could find a cheaper water heater and cheaper labor but I tried one of those water heaters from the big box store and it failed after only 4 years. The ones that Benjamin Franklin sells are MADE IN THE USA instead of a foreign country. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry!

10/10, no doubt about it. Lucas was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. We had an issue with our water heater that left us without hot water or heat this fall. He quickly diagnosed the problems, explained his findings in excellent detail, and got everything fixed. He also went the extra mile in a couple of ways I didn’t expect, which I really appreciated. I’d absolutely recommend Lucas!

We had our water heater repaired and had a new water filter system installed after the technician suggested it. He was friendly and factual. After his visit we had to have another repair man to set the water heater temperature. Now it is working fine.

Christian was a very kind and pleasant young man. He did an exceptional job replacing my kitchen sink faucet and incinerator. He was thorough and helped to get the smell out of our pipes I would recommend him for any job.
Larry Murphy
Our plumber, Jared was efficient and understood our issue quickly! Very respectful of us and property and we highly recommend this company.
Jeremiah Fisher
A full gas water heater installation -- quick install with courteous service. Jon Hare and Luke Stelly gave excellent advice and were finished with the install in less 3 hours (including purchasing the unit itself)! Thanks!
Tammy Spencer
Luke was awesome! I am so happy that I picked your company to do my repair! I will be using your company again. Thank you for your awesome service! I would highly recommend your company to anyone needing service done at their home!
