We are part of a locally owned company serving east Alabama since 2000, led by a family with five generations of plumbing experience. We're The Punctual Plumber: “if there's any delay, it's you we pay.”™
Every Auburn home has access to our full range of plumbing services. The menu is the same across our entire east Alabama service area, and each service links to the national brand page with full details:
Around-the-clock emergency service dispatched for Auburn homeowners facing burst or leaking pipes, slab leaks, sewer backups, water heater failures, or no-water situations. We are available day or night, weekends and holidays.
Expert diagnosis and repair of leaks, fixtures, and supply problems, backed by professional inspection and diagnosis, with our trucks carrying thousands of parts to fix most issues in a single visit.
We offer slab leak detection and repair, plus non-destructive leak detection, leak repair, and pool leak detection. These services are vital where East Alabama's red clay soils shift beneath slab foundations and stress the pipes below.
Pipe repair and whole-home repiping for aging galvanized and cast-iron systems and the failure-prone polybutylene common in 1980s–90s homes, plus water service line and leaking pipe repair.
Water heater repair, replacement, and installation, including tankless systems, a popular upgrade for endless hot water and energy savings in the Alabama heat.
Water softeners and filtration for hard water and, on the many private wells of the region, the iron, sulfur, sediment, and acidic (low-pH) water that corrodes pipe, improving taste, scale, and appliance life.
Drain cleaning and hydro jetting with camera inspection, clearing grease, buildup, and the tree roots that reach into lines beneath the region's mature canopy.
Sewer line repair and replacement and trenchless options for root intrusion and the aging clay and cast-iron laterals stressed by shifting clay soils, often with minimal digging.
Boiler service and water pump and sump pump work for the homes and systems that need them across the region.
Outdoor plumbing, pool pump service, and faucet, toilet, shower, bathtub, and garbage disposal repair and installation.
Commercial plumbing service for the shops, offices, restaurants, campuses, and lake-resort businesses across Auburn, Opelika, and east Alabama.
Auburn's growth and its university shape its plumbing. Alongside established homes near the older neighborhoods and downtown, Auburn has a large stock of student rentals that see heavy use and often need repiping, fixture replacement, and prompt repairs. There’s also vast new subdivisions built during the city's rapid expansion, many in the polybutylene era, worth watching for pipe failures. The city draws surface water from Lake Ogletree and buys additional supply from Opelika, so treatment is about filtration and scale, while outlying homes on wells need iron, sulfur, or acid treatment.
Auburn's homes sit on slab and crawlspace foundations in the Piedmont's red-clay country, not basements. That clay shifts with the seasons, stressing the water and sewer lines beneath a slab, so slab leak detection and repair are a defining local service. Long, hot summers push water heaters hard, mature trees in the older neighborhoods send roots into aging sewer laterals, and campus-area and commercial properties rely on commercial plumbing.
Auburn's mix of historic homes, student rentals, new subdivisions, and campus-area businesses plays to our strengths: slab leak detection, repiping (including polybutylene), water treatment, water heater service, sewer-root work, and commercial plumbing. Our fully stocked trucks fix most issues in one visit, and we've served east Alabama since 2000.
“if there's any delay, it's you we pay”™. If we're not on time, we pay you $5 for every minute we're late, up to 60 minutes or $300. See our guarantees.

Auburn plumbing follows the academic and Alabama calendar. Landlords must check rentals between tenants and before winter breaks so small leaks and freeze risks don't become disasters in an empty unit. Flush the water heater yearly. Watch for slab-leak signs as the clay shifts; and before a hard freeze, insulate exposed pipes.

I highly recommend this company. They were quick and responsive in scheduling my service, and the plumber they sent out was fantastic. Sometimes it’s hard to find a plumber, but search no more. Use them! I certainly will use them again. Most importantly, their prices are very reasonable and competitive.

Outstanding experience! A polite young man Mr. Amado handled a small repair for us, and everything went seamlessly. Scheduling through the call center was quick, communication was stellar, and the pricing and workmanship were top-notch. As someone who has worked in the service industry for a long time, I truly appreciate the commitment to customer service and communication training shown here. The quality of work still needs to stand the test of time, but the overall experience was 10 out of 10. I won't hesitate to use them again!

Daniel was great!! He was very prompt and explained the workings of the new water heater. The company is awesome. Now you could find a cheaper water heater and cheaper labor but I tried one of those water heaters from the big box store and it failed after only 4 years. The ones that Benjamin Franklin sells are MADE IN THE USA instead of a foreign country. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry!

10/10, no doubt about it. Lucas was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. We had an issue with our water heater that left us without hot water or heat this fall. He quickly diagnosed the problems, explained his findings in excellent detail, and got everything fixed. He also went the extra mile in a couple of ways I didn’t expect, which I really appreciated. I’d absolutely recommend Lucas!

We had our water heater repaired and had a new water filter system installed after the technician suggested it. He was friendly and factual. After his visit we had to have another repair man to set the water heater temperature. Now it is working fine.

Christian was a very kind and pleasant young man. He did an exceptional job replacing my kitchen sink faucet and incinerator. He was thorough and helped to get the smell out of our pipes I would recommend him for any job.

Our plumber, Jared was efficient and understood our issue quickly! Very respectful of us and property and we highly recommend this company.

A full gas water heater installation -- quick install with courteous service. Jon Hare and Luke Stelly gave excellent advice and were finished with the install in less 3 hours (including purchasing the unit itself)! Thanks!
Tammy Spencer
Luke was awesome! I am so happy that I picked your company to do my repair! I will be using your company again. Thank you for your awesome service! I would highly recommend your company to anyone needing service done at their home!

The guys were personable, have plumbing experience and seemed knowledgeable of the situation.
Auburn sits on the Piedmont's red clay, which shifts with moisture, expanding when wet, contracting when dry, moving slab foundations and stressing the pipes beneath. That movement is a leading cause of slab leaks. We detect and repair them with minimal disruption.
